Today’s cappuccino was creamy with a bold, satisfying espresso base — definitely one for those who prefer their coffee with a bit more punch. I ordered the special, and the Turkish bread was perfectly toasted: crisp on the outside but not dry inside — a small triumph. The scrambled eggs were soft, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. The crab itself was handled well — no issues with freshness or technique — but flavor-wise, it didn’t quite harmonize with the eggs. A solid dish overall, but that pairing felt a bit like two soloists trying to sing a duet.

Delicious French Toast, But Could Be Better Value I recently tried the French toast at this café and was genuinely impressed by the taste and presentation. The dish was beautifully plated with fresh berries, banana slices, crunchy elements, and a generous dollop of hazelnut gelato on top — visually stunning and delicious. That said, I was a bit taken aback by the price. At $28 for just one slice of toast, it felt a little steep, even considering the quality. For that price, it would have been great to either include an extra slice or offer a slightly reduced price to match expectations. I truly enjoyed the flavors and experience, but a small adjustment in portion or pricing could make this dish feel like better value for money.

It is rare these days that I am surprised by a café but Flower Child has managed to make my day/week/month. Having had two coffees already I cannot review their coffee (I am a known coffee snob) but I will fix that soon. Instead we opted for the lemon grass tea which was steeped at the right temperature to be full of fragrance and flavour. My wife ordered the Avo Smash which was presented as a picture almost too good to eat (I did say almost) and which was a delight to the palette with a subtle blend of flavours. I had the Asparagus Soldiers which was nice to look at but which blew me away with the flavour. The asparagus was nicely grilled, the poached egg was perfect and the sauce was so good and clearly not from a packet I had to complement the Chef. I am now a definite Flower Child (not sure that came out right).

My first time at Flower Child Cafe today, and it was so lovely. The service was exceptional; especially Julia - she was so sweet, attentive, and made sure we were happy with everything! Food was delicious and fresh. Will definitely be coming back.

Great place for breakfast, food and coffee has always been good and I really like that the menu changes with the seasons so there's frequently new and exciting things. We have tried numerous dishes here over the times we have been coming and everything we have had is really tasty and flavourful. Most recently had the golden waffles and the brisket Benny and they were amazing lots of flavour (see photos) The staff are also really lovely and are always nice to my 2.5 year old.

Came here for a late lunch. Beautiful setup, a very popular spot in the heart of the shopping centre. We were seated immediately and greeted by friendly staff. We ordered a Crispy Chicken Burger and a Classic Aussie Burger with Shoestring Fries. The Burgers were packed with flavours and the Fries were crispy and golden brown. The only downside to this cafe is that the tables are quite close together. Worth a visit.

Set in a beautiful garden like setting in the middle of a mall… food made fresh and very different but delicious. I tried avoiding smash which is so common in every cafe but they served it with soft ricotta and some spice powder which makes it unique. Coffee was good and service was good too. I felt rushed though soon after finishing the food.

A busy Sunday lunch time. Had to wait for 5 mins before sitting down. Very nice environment, good coffee, good manner staff and excellent big breakfast. As it was Sunday, we paid extra 5% as surcharge. Parking not a problem, 3 hours free.
